​With 10+ years of teaching, tutoring and college essay mentoring experience, Michaela will empower you to bring your whole self out and strategize your college-readiness path! Her approach uniquely activates the dynamic stories that make us who we are. As daunting as it was, tackling 33 vague college essay prompts senior year helped her discover her passions and aspirations and every year over the last decade she has supported this introspective process in her students. Michaela also brings cutting edge curriculum design, college research skills coaching, math/grammar/writing SAT/ACT test prep and study skills strategies, as well as specialized tutoring to I Am Me Mentors.

  • BA and MA in Education, UCLA College Counseling Certificate Program, Colorado State Teaching Credential and DPS classroom teaching experience
