Testimonials
" I liked the camp overall because we all got to talk and contribute, unlike a giant classroom. It's not like school. We even got to sleep in! I think that the content was good, especially the graphic novel. I think that others would also like doing a graphic novel like the Destroyer and writing/discussing about it." -Jonas, Student Rising Grade 9 about Thriving in HS (Academics & The Whole Self) "My mentor has been helping my 11 y.o. son with math for over a year. He is great with math, but additionally , he is great with kids. He treats them with respect. He never seems to get frustrated. He is very patient and kind. He takes problems my son found frustrating and finds a way to break things down and simplify them for him. He communicates with his teacher (at our request), to make sure he is always working on the things the teacher thinks he needs the most help with, and to prepare him for upcoming tests. His help has been invaluable. It’s also worth noting, he communicates very well, he is flexible, and is always reliable and on time. We feel very lucky to have found him and would strongly recommend him." -Brittany T., Parent |
"The boot camp is great for high schoolers. I learned how to write emails and plan out work. It was different than regular school because it was fun to be learning with my friends. Working with Michaela and Rowen was more personal and they coached me throughout the boot camp. " ~Owen K., Student Rising Grade 9 about Thriving in HS (Academics & The Whole Self) “I used essay editing services for grad school applications from these amazing mentors the past few months, and they have helped make the process so much less intimidating!. . . I had the pleasure of working with Rowen for the first time and had an amazing time connecting with them, and very appreciated their thoughtful insight and point of view. All in all, very happy with my experience and completely recommend!” -Ashika J., Student |
